The Letter A.......by bdeephotoComment: While this is a very striking image in its own right, it is somewhat contrary to the challenge, which was to find an "accidental" letter. This was clearly a staged shot. I suppose you may have been doing a shoot for some other purpose, and then "discovered" the "A" in post-processing, so I'll not be a complete hardass about this anyway. |

bluE-grEEn by bryanbrazilComment: Easily the most flawless image in this challenge, and an extraordinarilu striking one. I appreciate the seeing that went into finding this, and the purity of the colors, lighting & composition. |

Eye "Q" by MatthewComment: Composition: 8, Technical: 9, Appeal: 10, Challenge: 10, Overall Calculated Average Score: 9
Certainly ought to be a ribbon IMO. It's arguably more of an "O" than a "Q" but that's neither here nor there. Composition a bit static, sharpness a bit less than spot-on. Fine shot.
Incidentally, since I was ranking this one very highly anyway, i used it to test the "voting tool" that someone has posted to the forum., to see how it worked. I don't actually vote this mechanically, I do it a little more wholiistically. Your image struck a chord with me and i scored it very high :-) |

H is for Honeybeeby gwendyComment: Nice catch. I hope everyone gets it. My first reactiion was you misunderstood the challenge, your title is a little misleading... "B is for Bananan, C is for cat..." But fortunately I looked closer. |

Benedictusby charliebakerComment: Was just backtracking through surrealism and realized I hadn't commented upon this stunner, which IMO should have finished int he top 5 for sure. From a purely surrealistic POV it's easily the strongest image in the challenge. Fine work. |

forgotten memoriesby claudia26Comment: This is a very nice, quiet "abstract" of a gravestone. It's unfortunate that the horizontal of the type has not been leveled, and that the rather arbitrary cropping does not admit the full arch at the top. Finally, as an aside, "forgotten memories" is an ozymoron, a contradiction in terms; if it is forgotten, how can it be a memory? perhaps this was your inetntion? But if so, the image inno way supports the complexity of that paradoxical thought.
A decent score from me, nonetheless. |

Mourning Reflections in Graniteby theSajComment: This image has SO much potential, but it is largely untapped. Iunderstand what I'm seeing here, the reflection of a person in a polished granite tombstone, but the overall muddiness of the rendering is offputting, and the marks in the granite seem more like imperfections overlaid on the image than an integral part of it. I'd think soem careful use of levels and USM could work very well here. |
