Hands'down winner for the mondo bizarro ribbon in this challenge. I wish the foreward handle weren't occluding the eye socket, though.

A very nice, brooding shot, lovely how the moving water's been mistified...

Amusing construction, well-realized. The shadows clustered in the BG bother me a little... Strong entry.

I find this to be simply beautiful. The balance of the composition is spot-on. The lighting is exquisite, the tonalities breathtaking. I hope it does well, but I'm afriad it's not "literal" enough in terms of the challenge. Love the title.

For this to work as well as it ought to, the middle-ground rocks need to be tack-sharp to contrast witht he ghost water. The tonal;ities of sky and water are beautiful, the overall color is lovely.

Intriguing composition. I might prefer a true vertical for the dominant N/S element.

In many ways a very powerful image, but I have several nits. The cliffs themselves don't seem to be rendered as wella s they might be, and even though the horizon is almost perfectly level the ooveralls ense is that it's leaning slightly to the right, like it needs half a degree of ccw rotation to balance it. Finally, the very wide one-two punch of border is really hurting you here, it's greatly at odds witht he delicacy of the photo details, and overpowers them badly.

This deceptively simple composition if worth a second, and a third, look. Bumping up. My first reactionw as "not sharp", but now the softness seems to work well for the subject.

The ambiguity of scale here is fascinating. Nice image, tautly composed.

This is quite amusing. It's a pity there's so much of it feeling blown out. Good work!
