Very nice, a very sophisticated composition and well-deserving of the blue.

Yes, this was the idea for sure. I knew the challenge would be FULL of lines leading TO subjects, but I actually believe leading lines are most commonly used to lead the eye FROM a subject and INTO (and possibly out of) the picture; especially in landscape photographny, where a foreground subject + leading lines take you into the landscape proper.

Thanks, all, for voting and commenting. Fun shoot.

"Damned beach!" jejejeâ„¢

Really nice shot, zoomy. BTW, when I built boats, I used the abbreviation AMDG: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, "To the greater glory of God" — Is not your SDG properly translated "For God's glory alone (or only)?"

This is quite spectacular. The double entendre on leading lines is proceless. technically the image is exceptionally well done. congrats.

Boy that's rich... I wish you'd squared up the verticals with a half degree or so ccw rotation. Strong entry. It's perhaps more a "perspective" shot than a "leading lines" shot, but who's picking nits? There aren't that many "true" leading liens shots in the challenge anyway.
