This architect (Deems, Lewis, Martin & Associates) did NOT like people in their pictures. We had other negatives with one person and a group of 3 persons for scale, and they were rejected. |

cattails-horizontal-IMG_170.jpgby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by JOHNBOY1970: Very nice image Bear, I may have cropped the tree line at the top out, but then again, you are the master. No pun, your images are what I one day hope to achieve on a regular basis. IMHO you are the best here. |
That's kind of you to say so, but have you checked out nshapiro's landscapes in his Maine series? For just one example. I don't consider myself the "best" by a long shot. I've just had a lot of practice. |

On Assignmentby iamkmaniamComment: Seriously underrated. I wonder what the voters are thinking sometimes. What's NOT to like? Beautifully lit and beautifully composed. |

Temple at Vijayanagarby Ian-AndrewComment: Lovely, lovely image. Beautiful, serene tonal balance. Consider adding a very slight gradient to the top of the sky, to balance and contain the image further. |

640 and Countingby SandyPComment: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery? I suppose there are many others that look the same :-) The connection to "even" is tenuous at best here, but it's a nice image. |

Burgundy for Twoby alfrescoComment: Technically very nice, crisp & clean, but very static image overall, difficult to react very positively to. |

Six Rails into the Westby CutterComment: I think you have monitor problems here. I have a well-calibrated monitor and I can *barely* make out the rails. I suspect that many voters will not see them. Nice shot if it presented properly. Good luck. |

Leaf me alone by BrennanOBComment: Very nice example of camouflage. I'd love to see the fully saturated version you say was "too vibrant"; my quibble with this one was it seemed a little flat... Congrats on ribbon! |
