For the record, the car was accidental. This is a dead-end road from out of the marshlands, and what some dude was doing driving out in the pre-dawn I have no clue. I was shooting this in the natural light entirely, so I counted this as a wasted frame and popped another one off after he was gone. When I processed these later, the "natural" shot was totally blah, and this one was at least "interesting", so in retrospect I should have turned MY jeep around and lit the damned road myself, but that didn't occur to me at the time, and this was shot the morning-of the challenge, so...

I had no idea what this image was about until someone I was chatting with happened to mention Andres Serrano's "Piss Christ", so I looked it up. You just jumped from a 5 to an 8. It's an excellent tribute to the original, plus you got cojones even doing this in the first place. I'm sorry you didn't include the photog's name in your title, I think very few people are going to get this, though I may be wrong.
