I have no clue what this actually is...but it looks discusting. Looks like skin with bloody puss filled lesions. I have to say that with that image in my head, this is not appealing at all to me. Your focus is alright, and this is definately abstract enough, but just nasty looking. Sorry. ~Heather~

Definately abstract, and while I can't really tell what this is at all, I think i like it. I usually don't go for total abstractness, but this one does draw me in somehow. Nice work. I like the color scheme, and I like the simpleness. Overall very interesting. ~Heather~

This is by far the most interesting shot so far. Good color, good angle, good focus and DOF, overall good. It's got something to look at, it's not just a colored blob, and I like it. My favorite part is near the top of the photo, the blue "springs" very nice shot. ~Heather~

This looks like a glass sculpture underwater. It's too dark for my liking. Not really much to look at. The red spot draws my attention more than anything, and it really isn't that interesting. It is definately abstract, which is more than I can say for some of the abstract submissions. But just not my thing. ~Heather~

This is pretty neat. Definately a break from the many blobs of color submitted for the challenge. I like this shot. Very nice warm color, good placement of the subjects, and the crop is interesting. It seems to be a little noisy, especially around the dark round edges near the bottom. Still a nice image. ~Heather~

It's abstract, but I'm not feeling really drawn in. I like the color, and that's about it. The light reflections (or whatever they are) are a bit distracting, but it's hard to define distracting in an abstract. I guess I'd just say that I don't like them, as they aren't really distracting from anything. Not really a main "hey look at me" spot. The color is good though. ~Heather~

Mountains & Clouds

Simple and interesting. Does look like clouds and mountains. I like the lighting to create shadows in both the 'sky' and the 'mountains' gives it a more 3d effect. Would be boring without them. Abstract, and interesting. Makes me laugh too. Very nice imagination. ~Heather~

The first thing that comes to mind here is that I wish the part that is in focus went from upper left to lower right, instead of upper left to lower left. Otherwise, it's a nice macro. I can tell it's a melon, so maybe it's not quite as abstract as some would like. but I like detail, and this has detail. good in my opinion. nice lighting and dof makes it interesting. ~Heather~

Looks like anreflection of an eclipse of the moon in a puddle or something. Kind of neat. I wish it were more in focus, what ever it is. The blurryness doesn't appeal to me here. I like the placement of the main subject. The lighting makes it interesting as well. Overall interesting. ~Heather~

I'm not really sure if this, in my opinion, meets the abstract category. Slapping a title with the word abstract on it doesn't magically transform it into an abstract either. I think it's an alright photo. Good focus, good angle, distracting shadows, and blown out sky affecting the top portion of the car. In a humor challenge I might rate it fairly high, but not for this challenge. Sorry.
