The different blues are nice, but the image doesn't really appeal to me. I think for the most part it fits the abstract category, but I don't like the effect used to create the image. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of TAKE an abstract image, not take a regular image and distort it so much it becomes abstract. I guess in the end it's all the same, but I'd prefer this without the effect. ~Heather~

interesting object. I like it. I think that the dof is perfect here and I like the background very much. was the item placed on a sheet of glass? very nice color and I like the orange/brown on blue. The angle and placement of the object within the frame is great, and overall a very nice image. congrats.

I don't like this effect at all. It's abstract, but not really my cup of tea. you have reduced what was probably a nice flower shot to a 5 color mutation of something that could have looked nice. I realize this was for an abstract shot, but this just looks mutalated. the color isn't even wow. sorry it's just not my thing.

The colors are alright, but there really isn't anything that draws me in here. I will admit that the large version looks better tha the thumbnail. The thumbnail looks like you took a photo of something and really really screwed up the focus. The larger version looks more like an abstract painting or something. Really nice colors. ~Heather~

Wow. I love this. I'm not sure what it is I like about it though. I think it's a combo of lighting and color. Your detail is amazing with all the little scratches. I have no clue what this is, but it is very interesting. Wonderful find. 10

Since you're having so much trouble with this shot, I thought I'd stop on in and comment. First off, I'm not a huge fan of abstracts. That being said, this one is alright. The color is what does it for me. I like the texture and patterns along with the color. Had I not gotten some inside info from the DQ request, I would not know what this is, but that's ok. Maybe that's what makes it interesting. The way you have positioned the sunglasses in the photo makes for a nice balance with the reflection and colors. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~

It's abstract, and it made me look at it for quite awhile trying to figure out what it could be. But it still doesn't really interest me much. Some good patterns, and I like how the same patterns repeat slightly throughout the photo. Black and white is interesting here. Definately better than the colored blobs I'm seeing many of. lol. ~Heather~

? Is right. It's definately abstract. It's abstract and out of focus. I can't say that this photo really draws me in and makes me say 'woah...cool'. No real exciting colors or shapes or patterns. For lack of better word, boring. Sorry. ~Heather~
