Is this a hacky sack? I'm thinking that I don't really care for this pic. I guess you just can't use this technique on everything. lol. Might have been a tad better if they were in some kind of pattern, but they look like a screwed up circle. focus seems ok, but hard to tell. I don't like the texture of the background, I find it very distracting. ~Heather~

I like this. I'm not totally sure why, but I think I like the angle and where you placed your subjects within the photo. focus and clarity are great, the lighting is what I think really makes this shot for me though. Overall very nice. I really have no complaints about this. Had it been an editing challenge, I may have cloned out a couple little reflections, but they really don't affect the photo at all. I supose that people will either hate this or love it. But setting all personal preferences on politics aside, I don't much care for the actual photo. there are 7 of the subject, I'll give you that, but the background just makes this look cluttered. The lighting is creating some bad shaddows around the buttons. focus seems good, and I like that the 7 buttons make a physical 7, but it's just not drawing me in. ~Heather~

The MAIN subject to me looks like the dice. There are not 7 dice in the pic, which makes this a stretch on the challenge. I DO see 7 red hotels though, so at least there are 7 of something in the pic. As a photo, I think this is good. Nice focus and DOF, good lighting, good angle and framing/cropping, I just think that it could have been different for this particular challenge. ~Heather~

At first, I thought there were 7 panels on the wall...but really there are like 8 or 9, there's 1 coat, so I'm not really sure how this fits the challenge? maybe this was easier to see in person, but I think that the photo is just confusing me. on the other hand, that doesn't seem too hard to do sometimes, so I wouldn't blame you for that. lol. It's a dark shot, not sure what I'm looking at, and not sure how it relates to the challenge. sorry. ~Heather~

This photo is a little dark for me. I think that if there were a bit more light, it would be a lot brighter and have more punch. I almost missed the dark dice in the lower left. also, I'm sure you heard this already, the plural of dice, IS dice. I think the brightly colored chips takes away from the dice. ~Heather~

A person really has to hunt for those other 2 'bananas' They are really actually just banana stems really. I think i'd really like to SEE the 7 subjects. focus and clarity are really good though, and I think the lighting is alright too. The crop seems odd, maybe a little too close. ~Heather~

7 Bulbs

cute. I like the little bulbs, and in light of (no pun intended) the upcomming holiday, I think this is a fun shot. My only real complaint would be the shadows under the bulbs. wonder if some side lighting could have taken care of those, or if you wanted it that way. I would prefer it without the shadows, but that's just me. I like the placement of the bulbs within the photo, and the line up is good as well. very cute. ~Heather~

egad...the background here is horrid. Your subject blends right in with the mess in the background making it hard to look at. I definatley see that there are 7 colored squares, and in the shape of the 7, but the background is just so busy and it kind of engulft the subject. that's my only problem with this shot, but it's a pretty big problem in my eyes. focus looks ok, set up looks ok. everything seems ok, but that aweful background.

I don't think I understand this pic, but there ARE 7 hand in the pic, so it does fit the challenge. can't say that it is visually appealing to me on a personal level, but maybe i'm just not familiar with this odd behavior. lol. I lke how you got 7 people to do this, not 4 people with both their hands. Makes me smile to think that you all got together to make this photo. Looks like a fun cute photo. ~Heather~
