Angle is perfect on this. I like how you have this set up. Lighting is great, no distracting shadows, or reflections. The mid section of the pencil is a tad bright, but it doesn't take away from the photo. I like how the pencil sharpener has kind of a rainbow-ish oily look. Makes it kind of prism like. The shavings add a nice touch as well. Nice job and good luck in the challenge.

Excelent shot. Looks like he's been working on this one for awhile. Very nice clarity. The background works great against the kitty's dark fur. The lighting is great and I like the angle. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

Very pretty. There was one thing that bothered me. Peach and pink aren't in the "prism". However, I looked it up and Prismacolors online and found out that that is the physical name of the colored pencils, so all is good. Very pretty colors, and attractive display of them. you did a nice job keeping glare to a minimum and there are no distracting shadows. It's pretty simple, but very nice. Good luck in the challenge.

In regards to the title, I'd have to say Yes it is! Almost did this one myself. I would like to see the color version also to compare and find out why you went with b/w. The angle is good and I like the placement in the frame. Lighting is good. The dark spot inside the pencil sharpener is a bit dark for my taste, but that's just an opinion. besides, it looks like it could have been a bit difficult to get light in there anyway. I like how I can see all the way through the pencil sharpener. I wonder how many people are going to knock this down for "not meeting the challenge?" Personally, I say it meets the challenge right on. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

You have a very nice background for this photo. Pretty blue. THe lighting and angle are great, however, I'm kind of curious, as the motion blurs for the eraser and the upper most pencil are going 2 different ways. I'm really don't know much about motion blurs, so you can ignore that if you want. The eraser stands out nicely being in the center of the photo. There is a slight glare on the vertical pencil, but it's not distracting from the photo. Honestly, it's not something I'd hang in my livingroom, however it is nicely done. Good luck in the challenge.

Oh gosh, please don't take this the wrong way. The angle is good. It just kind of makes the model look like she has a really big butt. I know she doesn't cause she has such a slim waste, but the perspective makes it seem that way. I think that a more straight on shot of the back might have been a bit more flattering. Unless, of course, you were going for this look, then I'll leave it alone. It kind of looks like you are taking a photo of a pencil, but trying to show off the tattoo. You could reverse it, you could take a photo of the tattoo at a more direct angle, and have the pencil still in the pocket be visible, but kind of in the background. I like the tattoo, it gives the photo originality. Might have looked more natural if the model was wearing a half shirt, instead of scrunching up a full shirt. The lighting is beautiful, and the red belt gives this photo zing. Good luck with the challenge.

This is a very strange photo. I would like to have seen this at a different angle with less stuff in the background. the angle this was taken at, makes it kind of hard to tell exactly what we are looking at with the spot where the pencil goes in at isblending in with the black spot on the cow. lighting is ok. there is a glare on the photo in the back left and on the table right in front. otherwise, humor factor is high. good luck in the challenge.

Love the reflection of the pencil in the water. Makes it look kind of like a star. I think the water drops on the outside (or inside) of the container kind of take away from the over all look of the photo. There is a glare in the top right, but you did an excelent job keeping non wanted reflection and glare off the container. Really neat effect. Good luck with the challenge.

Must be a cold day cause they all have their hats on. I love it. Focus and angle are great. Did a great job of keeping reflection and glare off the car. The background is nice and I like how it's shot kind of at an up angle. great job and good luck in the challenge.
