Just A Blurry Memoryby sylkComment: I see what you were trying to do here. The doll is older, probably from yours or someone near you childhood. I have the feeling that people will be marking down for "having a child in your photo". however, it really didn't specify if you could have photos of children in your photos or if you could have childrens body parts (hands/feet) like I have seen in a few photos. I would assume no. However, since it doesn't really specify, I will set that aside and simply comment on the photo it's self. The photo of the child should have been moved back slightly (for focus) and straightened up. It being very crooked takes a lot from the photo. The doll has been kept in great shape and that on it's own is pretty impressive. Lighting is good, you did a goo djob of keeping glare off the doll's face. There is one tiny spot of glare, and it kind of looks like she is crying. Anyway, The angle and idea are great. Good luck in the challenge. |

Remember the paths you took as a yougin'?by MagsCoyoteComment: This looks very similar to a path near where I live. It's in the boyscout reserve behind my college. Anyway, I love the angle of this photo it is very nice. The lighting worked very well for this photo. The focus and placement withing the frame are great. Good luck in the challenge. |

Play time is over by Frank BeckmanComment: I have to wonder where these beautiful sun sets are coming from. Certainly not from here. We get 1 every now and then, but never when I want them. LOL. Great shot. I love the shillouettes and the sky is great. Angle is perfect and I like how you also included that on the right. Great job and good luck with the challenge. |

Shedding of Innocent Blood (God Help Them!)by GraciousComment: I think I am seeing the point to your photo. About how many children, for whatever reason are hurt, lost, of killed daily. This may be a personal photo for you, and if so, I am truely sorry. This photo doesn't appeal to me personally, however, it has appealing aspects. The angle is good and I like how it fills the frame. The focus and lighting are ok. The shadow under the leaf right in front is a bit distracting, but not horribly. Overall, well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

My New Neighborhoodby GuillermoComment: Looks like we have some childrens hands in this photo. However, since the challenge didn't specify childrens body parts, I have to assume that it meets the challenge. I would think they also meant no childrens body parts, but since it isn't specified I have to give you benefit of the doubt. The angle and lighting are good. The little hamster definately depicts an aspect of childhood. Good luck in the challenge. |

George Lucas returns to his rootsby cq107Comment: Legos. Definately a childhood memory. Looks like Mr. Orange suit blasted off Mr. blue legs head with that light sabre. Great depiction of a battle. Nice chaos. The lighting is a bit dark for my taste, but for this photo is sets the mood nicely. Angle and placement are nice. Good luck in the challenge. |

What we did! How about you?by freetimeComment: Oh yes! Fishing with my Dad. About the only thing I could do right in that mans eyes. LOL. I wish we had a closer up of the man in the photo. It is ALMOST hard to tell what he is doing. The lighting works very nicely here and the angle is good, maybe just move it in a tad closer. Great photo and good luck in the challenge. |
