The keys in this photo look kind of strange. They almost look like they's been scanned. I'm not in any way saying they were...just saying that they have a different look to them. I wonder why the "your" didn't turn out as clear as the rest of it. I like the idea a lot. Very original and creative. The angle is good and I like how it fills the frame. placement of the keys is great. Great depiction of childhood. Good luck in the challenge.

A bark bark here

This looks like a photo of a page in a book. I realize that it is childhood related, but I don't think it took much effort. For being such a simple photo (in my mind) there should be no technical flaws, yet the angle and frame are off. The lighting is great, you did a wonderful job keeping annoying glare and reflection off the page, and there are no distracting shadows. Old McDonald definately reminds me of childhood. Good luck in the challenge.

They All Went Home

This is my second highest of the numerous swing photos. I liked this one due to the fact that it's not JUST a photo of a swing. There was some creativity involved in chosing where to find the swing and which one to shoot to get a good angle in relation to the sun going down. I like how it it shillouetted and I like how the "edge" of the water is parallel to the edge of the bottom of the frame. Nice placement, beautiful photo. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

Very nice. I love the angle, lighting and placement. I think I even see the "rule of thirds" here. My only complaint (and I'm sure if you could have done anything about it, you would have) is the tree branch on the right. I know it's not your fault. Other than that, excelent photo. Monkey bars. great depiction of childhood. Beautiful angle and the title goes very well with the photo. lighting was perfect for this photo. The background is even very nice for the angle. Great job and good luck in the challenge.

When Wishes Came True

Very nice. I really like the angle of this. Almost like I'm getting ready to blow out the candles myself. Beautiful focus on the cake and softer focus on the background. can still tell what it is, but it's almost like the background could be the "wishes" Lighting is beautiful. There is a small glare on the purple balloon in the back, but it does not distract from the photo, and i don't know if it could be avoided. Great framing. The curly ribbon on the right goes right along the side of the photo. Overall great photo. Congrats and good luck in the challenge.

Other than having a truely discusting subject matter, this is a well executed photo. Visually, the cans should have been centered on the wall. You did a great job keeping glare and reflection off the metal cans. The angle is good. And lighting is good. Good luck in the challenge.

excelent photo. I love the black and white here, but I'd like to see the color version as well for comparrison. I love how they fill the frame and how you have curved them toward the back to add dimention, rather than just a flat photo. great job and good luck in the challenge.

Yank it!

yup. I relate. when I was really little dad tried everything he could to yank them teeth out, but in 5th grade, I still had baby teeth and then they wouldn't stop falling out in class. it was aweful. anyway, I love the angle here and I think black and white fits pretty good, considering all attention is on that door. Great idea. Good luck in the challenge.
