I looked for the subject, and concluded that it was the emply play area. That leaves the rest of the photo (the sky) to be the neg. space. However, if I look at it that way, then it's pretty boring. I then thought that you might have tried to convey negative space of the photo with negative space of the UNUSED play area. Unfortunately, I don't think they are the same, however, I wont count it against you for 2 reasons...1 not everyone went to college for art. and 2, this does portray a form of negative or "unused" space. so there...challenge met. lol. On to the photo. The lighting is great. I like the shadow of the tether ball in the front. The circles and lines make for nice patterns, and the sky is very nice. the angle and framing are excelent, and the focus and clarity are also very nice. Overall good photo! Fine Print: Loss in Multitude

This might have a higher visual impact if the creases were less noticable. With the title, you make it seem like the fine print is the subject. If the fine print were in fact the subject, then it would technically be the positive space. However, not being technical, the hand it's self being the "subject" lacks in interest, and the background, brings it in to be interesting. So in that case, I think you did a fine job of portraying "negative space" If that makes any sense. lol. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

Everything looks great except the building appears to be leaning to the left slightly. Except for that, the lighting is great, the angle and framing are good. The focus and clarity are good, and the neg space is very clear. Overall good job. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~

I can see it now...someone is going to complain that your flag is backwards. to me that seems rediculous. if we were only meant to see the flag with the stars in the upper left hand corner, then it wouldn't have 2 sides. I only say this because at photosig, seems like that is a huge deal. Personally, I like seeing it "backwards". I think this might have had a higher impact if the bottom people were cut out. Then it would just be the flag and the neg space. lighting is good, and angle and framing are also ok. the focus and clarity of the flag is good, and the neg space is clear. overall nice job. good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

I can't locate an actual subject in this photo, making the entire photo negative space. It is really dark, and I am not really sure what i'm looking at. You have a question mark in your title like you aren't even really sure either. There really is no focus. Sorry I can't find the subject here. Wow!! They complain about the "fat hairy" naked pencil guy, and then they complain that this model "doesn't have the body" LOL... I feel sorry for people who think that art only includes the "skinny, perfect, body". I'm going to do a nude some day. I swear I will.

I think there is a pun, or message that I'm missing here. I'm not going to mark down for that though, it's my fault. The photos it's self is fairly interesting. What really caught my eye is the size of the chairs. Are they more like stools? Everything is nice where the eggplant is concerned. The lighting, angle and clarity are all good. Some might comment on the glare, but I don't think it's strong enough to be distracting. The naked guy in the back is a little dark for my taste, however, I think that is what you were going for. Kind of trying to emphasize the eggplant, while keeping the naked guy in the back, but still in the photo. Overall interesting photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~HBunch7187~

I have to appologize. Every time I see something like this I get angry. Not your fault at all. I had a friend working on the 93rd floor of WTC1 when it was struck by the plane on the 90th floor, so please don't get upset if I don't get all excited about this photo. I'm not letting that affect my rating however, this is technically well done. The angle and framing are good, and the focus and clarity are also good. Lighting fits the photo perfectly. I like how the white background is broken by the reflection of the apple. Overall nice photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

This isn't too terribly exciting, however, it's great reality. I do like the splashes of water, and the color of the apple is yummy. I wish there had been more light on the apple, however, I have the feeling if there were, then the glare on the sink would be distracting. Overall nice photo.
