Angle is really good here. I like the framing/cropping as well. I find it interesting that the alley-way is virtually colorless and then there is the splash of color in the garbage collectors. Hurricane Lily Trashing MS HWY 90

I'd be going the other way. Although I do see your point, I'm not sure exactly what the hurricane is trashing, looks pretty much just like a storm to me. I don't see any trash, and I don't really see anything being trashed. I think that the angle is distracting, having such a right tilt. The water drops make parts of the photo seem out of focus. Don't mean to be picky here, just telling you what I see. Great documentary shot though. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

I feel your pain, only difference is you had time to vacuum the carpet. I really like the use of black and white here. Focus and clarity are great. Love your carpet. A garbage shot that's not gross. Sad as it is...This is a too common sight this week. It amazes me how "unclean" a lot of our environments are. I think the angle on this is good, and it has a statement as well. The glares off the water though are a bit destracting to me. Like you can really do a whole lot to fix it, but maybe a different time of the day would have worked too. All in all this is a nice shot. This is a nice shot, but I can't figure out if you mean the cats are throw aways, or the trash in the yard. They are very pretty cats. I don't really like cats, but they look well taken care of anyway. I like how the 2 cats are looking at you like you're crazy. "what is this person doing with the camera?" I definately see garbage, and in a twist, it's not gross. The angle and framing/cropping are very nice, lighting is perfect, and your focus is also great. Very nice shot! Rusty Yellow Trash Can

Diet coke and junk food. Funny. What I like here, is that not only is the trash can rusty, but everything inside is almost the same color too. The angle is good, and the focus is also good. LOL, my 2 year old just says "OH NO! There a pop in a garbage!" We have Michigan 10cent refund here, and are always telling him not to put the cans in the garbage. LOL, at least he's learning something. The shot is technically well done, but creativity is low. Unfortunately, there are about 100 shots like this in the challenge. I think we are looking straight into the top of a glass bottle. Since focus is in the title, I am assuming that the focus here is done intentionally. The angle is nice, but I think I would like a different framing/cropping on this. Lighting conditions are good, it helps to know what we are looking at. Nice shot.
