Moving Mountainsby NitenComment: There is a rock like this in Pineville KY. Up on the walk to chain rock. Anyway, I like the photo. Made me laugh for sure. The angle and framing/cropping are good. I am glad you backed up and included a lot of the rock. I think a close up would have lacked the humor effect. Lighting conditions look like they were nice for the shot. The focus and clarity are also good. Good luck in the challenge. |

"Squash The Troll"by teachme53Comment: Pretty funny. Your focus and clarity are ok, the angle is ok, but the cropping is too close. you cut off the hair, and the elephants butt. I would like to have seen the whole picture. The colors are good. I think that the background works, nothing distracting there. Good luck in the challenge. |

Self Portraitby TurbotechComment: This is pretty cute. Got a chuckle out of me. I like the angle and framing/cropping, but I think that it needs more whites. Black and white is good, but I think it's too grey. Focus and clarity are really good. Lighting is also good, but up the white levels, that's my only complaint. Cute shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

If I Had a Dinosaur by Raffiby cykhansenComment: Too bad the upper balcony is up there in the shot. You couldn't just move it? hehe just kidding. Shots inside public places are sometimes really hard to get cause of other things in the way, and not being able to control the environment. The colors seem kind of muted here, I wonder how a tad more saturation would have made this look. Your focus and clarity are awesome. I love the detail in his skin. Good luck in the challenge. |

Lead Me Upstairs -- David Grayby Dallas_TXComment: Really cool stairs. I like the red on blue, really nice. Definately portrays the title. lighting is great, as is the focus and clarity. I like the angle and framing/cropping. The strong diagonal is really great. This is an excelent shot. Good luck in the challenge. |

Lonely Ol' Night by John Cougarby spillerComment: A very beautiful sky. I really like the color there. The color of the bottom of the photo though (car lights?) doesn't really appeal to me though. Definately portrays a lonely night. You did a great job capturing that. The angle and framing/cropping is good, I think it looks ok if you were to crop a bit of the bottom off too. I like the silhouetted trees. Good luck in the challenge. |

Another Brick in the Wallby zadoreComment: I don't see the reason for having the person in the photo, other than to make it so this wasn't JUST a photo of a wall. I supose it would be a very boring photo without something else in it. The angle and framing/cropping are good. I like how he is sitting off to the right side. The focus and clarity are ok as well. I am assuming that the shadow and hood pulled over the face is intentional. I think it works well. (and I don't say that often about shadows on faces). Good luck in the challenge. |

Drops of Jupiter- Trainby marboComment: I assume this is a pinhole kind of thing. I think it would look great, however it's quite grainy and that doesn't really appeal to me. There really isn't much more to the photo than the grainy dot. I think I would have prefered if this were off to one side or another, dead center doesn't really work for this in my opinion. It is a really cool effect though, however you did this, it does look like a planet. Almost makes me wonder IS this a planet? Good luck in the challenge. |

The wall (Pink Floyd)by ParentxComment: Definately fits the challenge, and the song very well. The subject however isn't really exciting. Technically, it's well done. The focus and clarity are good, and lighting appears to be good as well. Good luck in the challenge. |

hidden placeby annaintheskyComment: Your DOF is very small. I think I would have liked to have seen this whole thing in focus. The photo fits the title. I've never heard of the song, but I'll take your word for it. The angle and framing/cropping are nice. I like the way it is positioned in the frame. The lighting is good, and background is not distracting in any way. Good luck in the challenge. |
