Nice expression, cute kid, lighting is also okay. Couple of things. Try portrait with having some space between the subject and backgroud. The subject should be at least 2-3 feet away from background. That will help avoiding the shadow too.

Lighting is not good enough for the portrait. The face looks little bit OOF.

Sorry for scoring it low, but the kid looks scared. No doubt she is cutie, but not happy at this moment.

Too artsy for my taste. I don't know what's there on the face below the eye, I would have scored high without that.

Small size? Face looks red and eyes are too blue. May be it's just me but it looks to me to much photosop.
