Metal15by JayWalkComment: My choice as the best of your excellent Metal Study. This one is more than just a fragment or a detail; I think it's a very fine, artistic image in its own right. |

Summer's End — Sunriseby Bear_MusicComment: I had figured it was yours as soon as I saw it, and so I deliberately saved it so I could compose an especially juicy comment. Alas, I entirely forgot to get back to it! So now I'll just say I'm pleased you have got a little bit more of the recognition you deserve ,,, for terrific but often bold photography, and patient but always sharply focused advice. You're DPC's premier mentor, Robert. Bravo! |

I'd guessed JJ, too (Chris Shipman beat me again). Should have known. |

broom vendor by whiteroomComment: Congratulations on first Blue, Lesley. It's a very fine image, but there's several more that are even better in your portfolio, so I hope this ribbon will encourage people to dig deeper into your work ... it's a rewarding and instructive experience, especially for those interested in discovering where art and photography merge. |

Electric storm 2.jpgby puzzledComment: Nice. Love the contrast between the steelwork and the jewel-like insulators. That's a very fine lens ... guess I've got to add it to my list, damnit! |

City Sunby e301Comment: I've already done three 10's (my record) so this has to be a 10 point 5. Contrasts abound ... light, tone, texture, weight, structure, exposure, processing and of course composition; all have got bags of contrast. Of these, it's the composition that's most impressive ... what looks at first like a casual, serendipitous city scene has actually been meticulously assembled and ordered with the eye of an artist. |

Convergenceby justin_hewlettComment: I was going to say "obvious", but nobody else thought of it (including me). And I'm pleased about that because you have composed and executed the photograph superbly, and I'd have probably made a hash of it! Bravo! 8 |
