showerby agenkinComment: I love the wetness/rain here, great capture of that. One person walking like "ain't gonna get wetter than I already am", in the background the couple sheltering in the doorway of the shop, meanwhile the rain falling so clearly.
As to the contrast, you could use a selective color layer for that and adjust the black slider for the blacks and neutrals. Something like 'blacks' and 'neutrals' both to +14%. Personally I think it is already good as it is.

Fritzi & Serdarby aKiwiComment: What I didn't like about my own version of this was that you can't see Fritzi's arm. When you have such a wide shirt as this it almost looks like she has no arm at all in real life. So it is good to see that little bit of arm there in your shot. I think we all have this one. Was this when the projector failed? :)

Fritziby aKiwiComment: Nice flow in this image. I think she should have got rid of the necklace, it would looke more pure if you know what I mean (English translated from Dutch thoughts.) |

Newfound Paradiseby TuckersmomComment: This must be very near to this:
Yeah, it is nice, calm, quiet and special but the people there are a very close community, just like Volendam. Outsiders are not really welcome. Wish I had known that you were there, it is just a 30m drive for me, always nice to meet dpc people. :)

Tall Ship's 2006 Regateby AranchaComment: Nice balance between the green and the blue.
What amazes me is the calmness on the water, only one boat. At the Sail Amsterdam 2005 it was crowded day and night on the water.
I recognize both these ships in front, the black-white one is the Amerigo Vespucci and the whiteblue one is the MIR I think,, altough it looks rather small to be MIR. Dunnow, just a guess about that one. Message edited by author 2006-07-28 17:47:31. |

Soulby Arti-ElviComment: Magic, those eyes draw me in. The rest of the frame is just filling, the way those eyes grab you rawks. |

by Joey LawrenceComment: The light looks a bit to modern (cold/hard) for the scene, but still pretty good. Good compo.
