I am so late!by hardwaybetsComment: I like the motion blur. It does a good job at telling the story of the person in the frame. Could be that he/she was just walking, but the way the picture is done it says: Gotta run, I am late!!! |

Suspended Christmasby KickDrum5150Comment: Like the composition and colors. Good DOF, exposure etc.
The background is a bit empty, but that also focusses attention to the bridge.
When it is doing bad in the challenge, it is perhaps that is was a bit hard to see that the central line of light was caused by cars passing. I only saw that the second time.
Good photo.

Ready for the Outbackby alanfreedComment: I like the lighting & exposure and color of this image. It would do great in a travel magazine when the background was a bit more interesting.
Good detail.

a resolution waiting to be brokenby shedonistComment: Good reminder. :-)
2 years ago I was 78kg, now 90.......... At that time I also spend some money to get the motorcycle lighter to enhance performance (10kg off), doesn't help when the rider goes in the other direction.
Nice composition. |

Akemashite Omeditou Gozaimasuby AntithesisComment: Interesting subject.
Like the composition. Good DOF & focus.
Could perhaps use a more diffused light from the left and an extra, less powerful light from the right to fill the shadows. But as it is a good pic.

The best solution to quit smoking is to never start with it I think. :-)

Champagne Toastby catpixelComment: The color cast (purpleblue) is very distracting. I guess it is the color of the flash (big hard shadows) fooling the white balance. Best to set a manual whitebalance, also to compensate for indoor lighting+flash combinations.
It would have been nice to see a face with a hand, now it is a big hand with a hidden face. |
