An early startby jjbeguinComment: Hmm, this is one of those scenes that I might prefer in B&W (b&w, sepia, other duo-quadtones). The color and complexity of the pyramids draws the eye away from the people. With B&W it is a little bit less so.
Despite that I like the composition and moment. Just enough detail to see that they are a woman and man. The entry provides a good frame, altough it is bit high in relation to the human size. The architect should be hanged, no, make that guillotined. :) |

Dream Catcherby loveComment: When I stand back 7ft from my screen I appreciate it a lot more than from 1.5ft. Strange effect. |

The Lone Rangerby labudsComment: Simple (in terms of what is in the frame, opposite is busy), strong. Good.
Space above works well. |

Breezeless Nightby pumaComment: I like the steps of purple to white in the background. The silhouette of the mill is nice but the trees are slightly distracting. |

In The Cold, Cold Groundby sherComment: Wonderful composition, the lines of branches of the tree are very strong and form an interesting pattern. The angle of the ground makes the lower part keep interest. The stone adds a feeling of place and serenity in combo with the tree. Very good. |

Before Sunriseby kmbr2001Comment: Perhaps there is a way to hide that light behinde the poles of the fence? It draws the eye away from the tree. I like the light on the ground, the purplepink contrasts well with the blue. Nice subject for a silhouette, though the crop is a bit tight in the upper left. |

Remembranceby TruegshtComment: Background has a painting like look, nice. There is a lot of space around the cross, I think a portrait layout might work a bit better. |
