Late Summer Sandlesby mpembertonComment: This photo has some flaws, like the blowouts in the out of focus background, but the mood is still strong. The composition helps a bit as well. Brown, orange and blue work together. I originally scored this an 8 and I still stand behind that. |

At the End of the dayby shangri_La_gypsyComment: Strange, the line of the zipper is in the middle of the horizontal part of the pic, but all the other parts like color, aperture control/dof, vertical subject placement and lighting makes this a pretty strong photo in this challenge. 8 |

DANCING SHOES?!by lieslComment: Not that it matters, but I am wondering, was this shot the way I see it or perhaps lying down/sideways/upsidedown. It must hurt to stand like that without those special ballet shoes?
I like the light, light balance and B&W tone here. The subject placement is a bit straight on and in the middle. 8 |

Immortalizedby CalliopeKelComment: The colors and glow vs the darkness works very well here. Nice wide crop combined with the subject placements gives a good balanced frame. Good work. 8 |

Hiking Bootsby JinboComment: The diagonal angle has created a very dynamic image with a good balance in the frame. No other elements to distract from the main subjects. The light vs dark works well. 8 |

Spinning Circlesby kyeboshComment: Good photo, the movement makes it interesting. The tone is soft and calm, it's relaxing to look at - perhaps knowing that someone is sweating and that I am hangin behind a screen helps too :) - It has a classic touch. |

Detachedby e301Comment: Good B&W, the contents work well in this tone. The gradation from light to dark in the upper part is smooth and pleasent.
I like the composition, but would prefer a more square crop. The space in the lower fifth of the photo does little for the photo, it could do without.
A view on someones back like this, with the shoe on the floor, makes me wonder what the person is doing. The effect is some kind of curiosity and expectation. A good way to catch the viewer. 9 |

Memento Moriby mannjuditComment: Interesting toning but strange effect with the light around the buildings and hills. The object in the front is in the way. 7 |

do a little danceby myceliumComment: Love the colors, the backlighting also adds interest.
The only thing I do not like are the tree branches at the left.
Good photo, 8. |

Door & Latticeby indy79Comment: Honey, I want that window there, no there, no there, no there, no I want a door.....
Nice architectural shot, I like the inclusion of the bicycle.
That also makes it feel a bit.... Dutch? |
