I would prefer it if she had faced the camera. It connects more with the viewer. The background is rather busy, so it draws some attention away from your subject. Maybe choose another bacground or throw it out of focus with a larger aperture. For me the centered composition doesn't work well, I'd prefer a more framefilling portrait view, also because she is pointing upward.

Ben I don't know why, but I just knew this was yours. It can't be that I recognized Jodie's face just from your portfolio image or is it somehow your own style? Perhaps you have shown some pics in the chat once. Doesn't really matter.

I am a bit surprised that it finished 111th, because I thought it was a very nice portrait. Everything is in kind of sweet soft tones and light but the eyes stand out so well with that hard blue.

Another one of those b&w images of yours that I felt had that little bit of extra. Yes it is soft, yes it has strange contrast, yes it is a bit noisy in the sky. But on the other hand, the whole of that yes yes yes in the previous sentence, it gives a special kind of ambiance and feel to it.
