I find myself looking around for an item to judge scale on the subject items. The dirt road and rocks help some. Just mentioning this because it's one of the first things that came to mind (how big are these things?). Your image is well focused and the exposure is good. The power lines form a good diagonal point of interest. Late or early day lighting may have added more drama, or a bolder sky could punch this up some. Technically, it's fine - just not overly exciting to look at. JMO of course. ;^) Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Interesting effect. Looks more like a graphic than an image. I'll be curious to learn more about how you did this after the challenge is over. Honestly, I'm not sure if I like it in this context (photo challenge) as it seems a bit over the top. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Oh the torture I imagine you went thru..."include the wire?", "don't include the wire?". :D Great idea for showing an electrical item. The clear glass and wonderful background work well. One thing I may have considered is doing this in a portrait orientation with maybe some negative space underneath. I'm sure you made the best choice given the situation. Either way...well done. This is a fun image and shows good use of electricity and it's impact on society (how else can she dry her hair?). Composition works well, and the image is well focused and sharp. My only complaint is the color tone - looks kind of purplish. Good luck in the challenge.
