Cool colors for sure. It seems like you may have pushed the reds a bit over the edge however and the silhouetted skyline isn't quite as sharp as it could be. Did you apply any sharpening to this? Anyway...just some observations. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice scenic area to take this photo. Well seen. I can understand the desire to push the saturation up some to bring out the vivid yellow, orange, and reds - but you should have held back on the blues as they are really throwing this off. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Yikes. Bet that took some time to setup! :D Interesting. I'm trying to determine the message. He doens't want to look because the news is so bad? The shirtless aspect is strange with the dress slacks. I think you should have stayed with a shirt on or used pants/shorts that were more casual, even dirty perhaps. Just some observations. Good luck in the challenge.

Funny expression and certainly interesting to look at. This should find it's way into a frame in his room at home. :D As for the merits of the photo in a technical sense the composition works, the exposure and focus are fine. I'm thrown off some by the post-processing. It's very heavy-handed IMO and doesn't seem to fit. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

I'm not really buying this as a "Portrait" shot. Seems more like something from a horror movie poster. Guess that's good in it's own way, but not for this challenge IMO. Good luck.

Going for the OOBie award? Usually I think of people for portrait shots, although I'm seeing some nice pet portraits as well in this challenge. Sorry, not seeing a connection on this one, although somehow I imagine you entered this just for the fun of it anyway. :D

This is a really fun portrait. Wonderful expression. Nice warm tones overall. The composition is nice as well. One minor "wish" is that the eyes were as sharply focused as the shoulder and the foremost hairlock on his forehead. They're not overly soft, just slightly behind the optimum focal plane. Nicely done! Good luck in the challenge.

Absolutely stunning! The lighting is fantastic, the details are sharp (haven't NI'd the skin to plastic). You can see the young adult in this young lady coming out. Boy are you going to have your hands full when she grows up with all those young men knocking at the door. :D My top pick. Good luck (doubt you'll need it) in the challenge.

I really like this, but I think you pushed the blue to a point past realistic. The orange and reds, ok, fine for this time of year. It's the blue on the branch in the water that seems too much for me. Otherwise, great eye to see this. Good luck in the challenge.
