This is one of those photos you put in a frame for this young lady to hang onto and enjoy for many years. She'll probably enjoy it much more 30 years from now. :D Well focused on the girl, which is primary. I have to wonder about your choice to go B/W. It works fine, but I'm curious how the color version looked. Anyway, overall, well done! Good luck in the challenge.

Certainly makes one stop and think. :D I like the color contrast with the white birch and the orange leaves in the bg. The top 2/3rds of the tree trunk is well focused, started to slide out a little near the bottom. Angle plus shallow aperture perhaps? Anyway, nicely done overall. Good luck in the challenge.

Your title makes me smile. Combined with her expression it's hard not to. She probably has a wonderful smile - why not show it? Something about the lighting is taking away from her eyes and it also seems close to hot on her left cheek (sunny side). Perhaps she is squinting a little?
