I can't tell you how many of those leaves I've seen around here, and not once have I thought that it was "heart" shaped. Guess I didn't look hard enough. Neat idea for the challenge. I wondering if the image may be a bit too busy to create major viewer impact (higher score). The background is distracting I think. Sorry for "thinking" out loud...just trying to figure out why this photo seems kind of "ok" and how it could move to the next level. Wish I could be more helpful. Nice flowers. Could be better focused thruout (deeper aperture). Lighting also seems a little flat - it's not doing anything for your water droplets. I would have taken a more extreme angle and lighting approach with this fine subject. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Hmmm...something seems plastic to me. ??? Cute. I like the leaf (?) you used as the background. I think if the lighting was better difused it might do a better job of "fooling" viewers into thinking this spider was real. Anyway, good luck in the challenge.

Pretty cool the way the dots play tricks with your eyes as they move out in the distance. CRT monitor flicker (refresh rate) just adds to it. :D The subject you chose to place on this background is ok, I can't help but wonder if something else might have really made for a "WOW" photo with that cool pattern. Anyway, good luck in the challenge.

Interesting in an abstract way. Repeating patterns and all... I think if more of it was like the top center, where you have the light casting shadows showing more detail, I would like it better. As is, it's "ok". JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.
