The Beauty of Whiteby SandyPComment: Very nice job of keeping the details of your subject and working in a white background. It's too bad you couldn't keep the horses attention while taking this shot (ears are pointed back) - I know personally how challenging that can be. :D Overall, nicely done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Pale Aleby KelliComment: Right concept with a nice subject. Somehow, not much seems in focus. Maybe because it's all muted a bit (sorry, not sure how else to describe it). Could be the condensation on the glass and glare from the lighting around the top (area without condensation)? The background seems more yellow than white (really evident from the thumbnail view). I like the composition with the off-centering and upper-right placement of the glass. Good luck in the challenge. |

Quality You Can Tasteby DJWoodwardComment: Ok, well I guess you have light on white technically. The lace tablecloth allows the areas under and behind to show thru which takes away from the "white" substantially. Question for you; where did the milk come from - the milk bottle is full? :D The cookies at the bottom feel like an afterthought. I think it's because of the color and they aren't sharp like the rest of the image (kind of seem small in comparison also). Some big Amos cookies or something would have worked a little better IMO. All of the above is JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Lovers For Lifeby jrjrComment: This works well. Nice catch! Hopefully not everyone can see this, but on my monitor I can see a fairly wide halo around the swans. It looks like maybe the feathering area from a selection to isolate the swans for some post-processing treatment? A few diagonal white streaks showing in the lower right area also...some branches removed maybe? All speculation of course. :D Well done overall. Good luck in the challenge. |

Seaside Gloryby shelw128Comment: I like this personally, but I think your voting curve is going to end up a little polarized because soft focus is often misunderstood. The soft focus here does two things; helps to obscure bg elements (seams, etc...) and it adds a nice dreamy look with the nice muted colors. May not be quite white enough in your background to reach full scoring potential. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Light as a feather...by silverscreenComment: The mirror is a nice touch. More impact would be gained for this challenge I think if the background was white rather than grey. Good luck. |

a little pinkby ursulaComment: This is a nice classic shot. Very well done. So well done in fact that I can't find a thing to "critique"! :D Congrats. I'd wish you luck in the challenge, but somehow I don't think you're going to need it. |

SHOWERby AlexSaberiComment: Well, I'm sure you're racking up the views. The thing holding this back IMO is the "white" isn't white, it looks yellow or beige. Good luck in the challenge. |

l o v e r sby cheleComment: Very, very nice. Wonderful touch in positioning and in disturbing the sand to indicate some "movement". Hope this does well for you. Good luck. |
