The Copper Top!by ElliottjmsComment: This is "ok". Lighting is a little harsh (diffuse it or bounce to eliminate harsh glare). It's almost too in your face. The light streaks are cool. Good luck in the challenge. |

Energize Meby ElaineComment: If this wasn't overexposed some on the bottom of the battery I'd say it works well. The grain is ok. Some are going to like it, others will not - it's a very polarizing technique here at DPC. This photo reminds me of an outerspace shot, where the battery is a spaceship and the area behind is the gallaxy with a black hole. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Powerby sangeethComment: Not quite sure I get the reason behind the stacking of the batteries, but it does add a nice diagonal line to this image. I hope you find this humorous - when this photo first loaded I thought the word on the extended battery said 'ANUS'. The light streak on the outside of that battery is chopping off the letters just enough... :D Anyway, it's an interesting take on the challenge. Good luck. |

The One vs. the Manyby blazelleComment: So many lineups of batteries in this challenge. Nothing against yours, just an observation. I like the battery you've selected as the "One" - bright color and the text on the battery going the opposite direction adds to the effect. Lighting is fine overall, maybe some bounced light from the low end side would fill the shadows a little, but the shadows are minimal anyway. Good luck in the challenge. |

James Brownby youngnovaComment: Hey, that's very cool you were able to get this photo AND you were able to enjoy the entertainment! I really like the emotion you captured in his face. |

Not a good way to recycle batteriesby P_NutComment: I like this. Good message, clever idea, proper composition with your placement of key elements. Only minor complaint from me is the slight tilt of the wastebasket. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

All I have to do is outrun you!by WhiteFoxOneComment: Clever concept. Based on the way you've put this together (text orientation on the batteries and left/right positions) it looks like the 'Energizer' batteries are chasing the 'Duracell' ones. Hard to tell if that was your intention or not. The lighting is a little harsh, try using a diffuser on your lights if you can (white tissue paper or a thin sheet, or direct the light at a whiteboard where the light bounces back at the subject).
Good luck in the challenge. |

Blooming Batteriesby michiganhikerComment: Looks more like psycho batteries to me! :D Interesting setup you've done here to get these reflections. If the details were stronger (better focus and exposure) this could be a decent scoring image. Good luck in the challenge. |
