How could it be forgotten? You'd be hard pressed not to kick it coming thru that door. :D BTW, the open door is a nice touch in helping the composition. It's funny, you've left a lot for the viewer to complete as nothing in this photo is all inclusive (part of the violin, part of the door, etc...). The 'School Days' connection on this is? Overall, an interesting image to look at. Good luck in the challenge.

Wonderful! Now the question of was this a natural discovery, or did you set it up? Either way it doesn't matter, it's a marvelous photo. I love the B/W tone, you've covered the range very well. Please tell me this isn't your kid and you let him be sad while you took his photo?! You've certainly grabbed an emotive shot. I guess being a parent it's hard to imagine seeing a little one this upset and not picking him up right away - the heck with the camera. All JMO of course. Best of luck to you in the challenge.
