Mirror Imageby SomeamateurComment: This is a very nice find and a good eye to see it. I can't help but wonder if there is another time of day (more flattering light, perhaps some clouds, and glassy still water) to revisit this and possibly another angle (higher elevation to eliminate distant shoreline). It's a nice shot overall but leaves me wanting more. Good luck in the challenge. |

Chiesa | aseihCby Dr.ConfuserComment: What a wonderful find, and nicely captured too! The color tones work well together (blue/grey). Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Ecola Sunrise (no post-processing except resizing)by charliebakerComment: Congratulations on getting a nice photo without post-processing. Would be excellent for a 'Minimal Editing' challenge. As it is, you're competing in the 'Advanced' ruleset. Some minor tweaks to this would place it substantially higher in the final voting results IMO. BTW - the long descriptive titles - they usually hinder more than help with many voters. Just an observation.
Overall, a very nice photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Falling Apartby mclComment: Cute idea and nearly pulled off. Whatever is holding the falling petal is distracting - I'd have cloned that out. Same with the seam in the middle of the table running under the vase. The flowers themselves are well lit and focused. The horizon line of the table is running off to the right (rotate counter-clockwise about 2 degrees to straighten out). Close, but not quite there (the small details are important). Good luck in the challenge. |

The Night Standby JeffryZComment: This is a nice still life type shot. One thing that could add to it is to adjust the white balance. Warm it up some - too cool (bluish). |

Good Afternoonby cpanaiotiComment: A little more contrast and a slight nudge in saturation would really add to this IMO. The eye is nearly centered in this composition. Cropping some off the left to bring the eye to a ROT point would also help. Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge. |

SLCby toddheadComment: I love the lighting you used on this to highlight only the face and let everything else fall to black. The one thing I notice on a technical point is the eyes - I wish they were sharper. Looks like the focal point ended up on the tip of the nose and a little softness fell into the area of the eyes.
Nice score and another great finish. Well done! :D |
