Crossing Overby FalcComment: Nice photo, but seems quite busy for the subject 'Vanishing Point'. I see a lot of lines (cool looking too I might add) but nothing that vanishes. ???
Sorry if I missed it. Good luck in the challenge. |

On Golden Pondby RingostarrComment: This is creative. I also like how the sky reflecting on the water adds to the image. The reflection kind of works like a directional beacon. :) Now, where's my fishing pole! :P Good luck in the challenge. |

My favourite vanishing point placeby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: Yes, I'd say it is. :) This is a well done photo overall. For vanishing point I'm not sure how well it works with you posed in the composition. It kind of makes the viewer stop and slow down to rest on the person, rather than continuing into the vanishing point. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Easy Road Leads Nowhereby yondermanComment: Hey look, it's fake snow! :) That path looks like the canal trail in my area. Great for rollerblading. As for the photo, you've done a nice job with the vanishing point. The IR is ok for some, not so much for others. Personally I'm not a big fan of it. Does make this photo stand out in the crowd for this challenge. Hope that works out for you - good luck! |

Sunflowerby LVicariComment: Lovely image. I like the use of light and shadow here. Not sure yet if I like the girl in the photo, or positioned where she is. Right now I feel like she stops the viewer from following the fence and discovering the vanishing point. Otherwise, it is a very well captured photo. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Vanishing Stringsby diablo2097Comment: This is a well-balanced, documentary type image. What it's missing IMO is some drama. Some "Wow!". For this subject I think you could have done a little more with lighting, perhaps something soft to pick up the shimmer on the strings, darker around the outside of the composition. A single light source out of view towards the far neck end. ??? Just a thought. Good luck in the challenge. |

Don't Fret The Goldby JustinBellComment: Ok idea. The vanishing point doesn't really get a chance to develop with the short lines generated by the guitar strings. Perhaps if you'd gone in tighter to the neck? Just a thought. The lighting is very isolated. Where you have strength in lighting it's overexposed, yet the foreground and top areas are quite dark. An artistic decision I suppose.
Good luck to you in the challenge. |

Declining Circlesby rkligmanComment: Good eye to see this, it's quite unique. I think if you had rotated this 90 left and put the vanishing point at the top you would be getting stronger results. Nonetheless, I like it. Well done. |

A Peaceful Walkby unpunkryanComment: The foreground framing adds interest. The vanishing point is unfortunately obscurred by the people on the sidewalk. Great idea. Good luck in the challenge. |

No Horizon, Multiple Pointsby Pug-HComment: He-he. These kind of shots are fun aren't they. :) Last time I was out taking shots like this I felt like the looney dude with a camera - it was in a very public park. :P
I like your approach to this challenge. It's unique and interesting. Good luck in the challenge. |
