Sunny Sevenby Trumpeteer4Comment: This is nice. I like the distinct foreground/background with good use of DOF. If the exposure was picked up a notch or two it would score even higher IMO. The flower petals should be closer to a true white. Just a small bump with curves would do it - perhaps even a histogram adjustment?
Overall I like it. Well seen and captured. Good luck in the challenge. |

Extreme Urgencyby SkipComment: Well, had I not peeked at your interview Skip I'd have missed this. I love it. Heck, it's only 30 months old. :)
It's fun seeing & hearing about all of the things you do. Someday I can say, hey - I KNOW that guy. Well, a little bit anyway. :P
Take care, and thanks for keeping this photo out there for us to be inspired by to try "new" things. |

IMG_59822.jpgby mkComment: What a great presence of mind to see this and capture it mk.
A very interesting, emotive shot that could be read many ways...dark & gloomy inside - get out! Go outside. Yearning to be free like the butterfly, the butterfly trying to get in...
I'm glad you posted this. Thanks for sharing. :) |

Botanyby lovethelightComment: Find another one of these for the "Burst of Color" challenge and you could end up on the front page when all is said and done. ;)
The central part of that flower jumps out so much it almost seems unreal. The radial action of the background black/white/blue spurs (not sure what else to call them) creates a sense of motion that is quite mesmerizing.
Sweet shot! |

Reaching Outby posthumousComment: Funny how a title can change the perspective of first opinions when viewing an image. "Reaching Out" at first takes me to the obvious subject of the woman walking, hand outstretched. Is there a subliminal message? The door of the church in the background beckons the viewer then sends the eye in a heavenly direction following the beams of light that seem to originate from the doorway.
Great eye to see this and capture this image. |

liquidryby yankoComment: This is fun to look at. In some ways it appears the bubbles are eyes gazing to the viewers left. Or it could be a pair of sunglasses upside down on a mirror. Way cool! :) |

Racing for Breakfastby nolinesComment: Very interesting abstract photo. Not quite sure where the painting with light is in this, however, it certainly is fun to look at. :) Good luck in the challenge. |
