The Light of my Lifeby digidoriComment: Lighting is a little harsh on the side of her face. Considering, you did a good job of showing detail on the far side. Shadow around her sunny side eye is distracting. Good luck in the challenge. |

Bridge over Minnow Creekby colorcarnivalComment: Did you shoot this thru a car window, or is that area in the top left some flare on your lens? Certainly a very lovely location... Good luck in the challenge. |

R.I.P. Link, we'll miss you by Art RoflmaoComment: Seems rather short lived for a Woody - only 22 when he splintered. What brought about such an abrupt ending?! Was he playing with fire again? They warned him about that as a kid once before, didn't they? Oh well...that's a very nice portrait to remember him by.

oby pointandshootComment: Wonderful image that is creative and nicely done overall. From the thumbnail view I was thinking, perfect, 10! After seeing it full size I still like this very much, but wish the last elevated bead was sharply in focus. Seems to be off the mark just a tad. The shallow DOF works very well otherwise, and the lighting is wonderful. Nicely done! 8 |

Where'd they go?by DelRioPhotoComment: This is a great looking location and you had a very cooperative sky to work with. While I like this shot I wish you had done a bit more to really make those clouds work for you. Good luck in the challenge.

Rainby MCsabaComment: I was looking around at users that have the Sigma 10-20 lens for Minolta and noticed this shot on your profile page. I opened it because I was curious as to what lens you used. My guess was the Minolta 50mm Macro lens you have listed (the 100 is capable of this as well I suppose). You didn't select a lens in the photograph info section. :/
I'm very glad I opened this up to take a look. WOW! I love this image. Quite fantastic with the stunning foreground and background bokeh! Well seen and captured. A bit surprised at the score, way underrated IMO.
A new fav for me. :) |

Out of the water ....NOW...!by JuliBocComment: I'm really surprised this didn't finish higher. Very lovely shot with a great B/W tonal range. Perfect for the mood of the approaching storm. The hands on the hips is classic. :P Quite easy to imagine being there...very nicely done! |
