Tranquilityby sherpetComment: This reflection shot works very well for the challenge theme. Very nice symmetry. The B/W works well also and you've done a nice job covering the full tonal range. Congrats, and good luck! |

Time for Reflectionby briantammyComment: Hi. Coming back around to comment. I just want to say this image is perfect for the challenge and a wonderful image outside of the challenge context. Worthy of framing as is.
Fortunately I have my own office, free from curious stares, so I can attempt to look at this right side up. :P I think this image is much stronger the way it's currently presented. It seems out of balance with the trees at the bottom.
Well seen, and very well captured. Enjoy your week on the front page of DPChallenge when the results are posted after rollover tonight. You earned it! :) |

6.jpgby hannekeComment: Coolest thing about this to me, besides the photo being very well done and fun to look at, is there isn't a "do-over" on this. You had to get it right on the first take. No filling up a card to "get it right". :D
Of course, there may be some trick that I don't know, like the dove comes back every time or something? :P
Very nice work. Thanks for sharing this and the series. |

Great Expectations with Cheeseby timfythetooComment: Yikes! That thing is nearly as big as his head. :) Cute. Good lighting and focus on the boys face. Nit-pik on details...the shirtsleeve needs attention. :P
Good luck in the challenge. |

Eat in or Take Awayby BrianRComment: Lighting could use a little work. Seems a bit harsh. Maybe add some side lighting? Use a reflector? Diffuse a little? Just my observations. Good luck. |

Fast trailside snack (I know it's a stretch)by VanBergenComment: Yum. These go well with vanilla ice cream! :) As an "artistic" type photo I kind of like it. Something doesn't balance quite right. I almost want to crop it more to a portrait orientation by taking away some from the right and left. It's almost like you tried to include too much here. How about flipping this? Feels upside down (even tho it may be correct as is).
All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

Hay! Slow Down!by ShannonLeeComment: Ok. It's OOB, but cute. If everything in the photo was sharp (not blurry) except for the horse, this would have more potential IMO. Good luck in the challenge. |

Hungry Yet?by escapetoozComment: Cute, in a gross way, and well captured overall. However, who would use this as a fast food advertisement? Maybe to show what the competition has to offer? :) Good luck. |

Newons Beachby TimComment: I think you did a fine job with the PP on this, and it's NOT over the top IMO. Quite nice! |
