Thanks for all of the comments. For those thinking there was some selective desat going on...there wasn't. The bank of the pond under the trees was just mostly black dirt.

Day 20 - Zebra Stripes

The expression on the Zebra's "face" has a sad quality to it. A title like "Don't fence me in", or "I want to go home", would fit quite well (not that yours doesn't). :P

Certainly is a lot of stripes going on here. :) Hope you had a fun outing!

Not sure why you don't like the B/W conversion with the cream color of the car. ??? Guess you tried messing around with various B/W conversion color filters?

This is a well composed shot. One thing that would make this a tad stronger (not that you can go back and reshoot it) is the DOF. Wish it were deeper to bring that 2nd light into focus. Probably not possible handheld...

Some nice cars in your neighborhood. :P

I love how the Mac logo stands out. Good use of existing light to make this work. The surrounding dark areas make a nice natural frame. Looks like she's quite used to having a camera pointing at her. :D
