Interesting lines, and I'm seeing some blocks of dark tone in the background (my work monitor isn't the best). I kind of feel like I want something to be a little sharper...it's a very soft image, but in some places that's effective. Perhaps this is one of those times? :)

Follow-up: Yep, the work monitor is lousy. The blacks look fine here now. :D

I'm at a loss as for what to say. It's "ok" as an image. Seems a bit static and documentary. Now I feel somewhat like Simon on American Idol. :P

Day 9 - Berries

Just a tad dark for me. What color did you filter on to convert?

I like how the leaves form a star shape with the berries in the middle.

Now...time to catch some of those birds in action! :D

Day 7 - Moon Rising

Wonderfully seen and captured. I'll bet this is lovely in color as well. Only thing I notice is the horizon seems tilted right a little. Other than that, a very nice shot.

:) What IS that thing? You've captured the details of it very well when you look closely at the construction of it.

I too am curious as to why the sun gets lost in the B/W conversion. Was it the filtering color you selected perhaps? Hmmm...now I want to try one (a sunrise/sunset) to see.

Very nice focus where it needs to be. At first glance I thought this might have been shot with a lensbaby. Have to love those fast primes, eh?! :) Wonderfully done. Beautiful image.

Day 8: Shadows and Light

Nice detail for F3.5!. Wonderful use of lines and light in this photo. You have to love it when opportunities like this present themselves. :) You have just a minor left tilt that would make the image a little stronger if straightened out.
