Progressionby JammurComment: Current time to old to a memory? Good positioning of the objects in your composition. Seems a little bit dark, not bad, but some. JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge. |

...Let my spirit carry me...by hahn23Comment: Wonderful capture, but what's the connection to Time? Did I mention it's a very nice photo yet? :) A keeper for sure. Great focus and clarity, nice freezing of motion, and the aperture chosen blurred out the bg perfectly. Well done (on the photo part). Good luck in the challenge. |

Atroposby posthumousComment: Interesting photo. Not getting the connection to Time. She looks like a psycho nun or something. :) I understand the creative use of DOF but I would like more of her face in focus (at least down thru the eyes). |

IMG_3926-2-Furniture640-2.jpgby idnicComment: To me, this says elegance. A bit formal, a little mysterious (the flower pot). At first I thought the throw was a dress. This piece of furniture with a dress, a book (open upside down), and a rose (or several) could implicate a different mystery. :D |

My Grandmother's Chairby BeeCeeComment: I can't believe no one has commented on this photo. Thanks for sharing the story behind it, and I understand your decision to not enter it (emotional connection) - however, thinking that it would score 4 something isn't flying in my book - it would have scored much higher. :D
This is unique, not in the technique, but for the challenge it would have been unique. May have taken a minor hit for the slight noise/grain but not bad. A border would help "contain" this image IMO. I'd go with a single pixel white, then some black on the outside. Just a thought.
Take care. |

chairby bvlindalouComment: For the 'Furniture' challenge I like this better. That's just the conservative me. I think this says "Furniture" better than your entry, although your entry is cuter. I'm a fan of light and shadows. In this case the light works well, as does the shadows, although the photo seems heavy on the left. I feel like I want the chair to be on the right, but then that would mess up the shadows. :D The wallplate for the plugs should probably go (clone out). Just a thought, and all of the above is JMO of course. :P |

armchair travelerby bvlindalouComment: Do you always go around grabbing other people's chairs? :D I like the overall feel and warmth (lighting is doing that) of this image.
Some more breathing room at the bottom would help some (you cut off the chair, but probably already know that). :P |

Daylight Savings Time Bluesby kteachComment: Of the many clock/watch pieces photographed for this challenge, this one stands out for me. I think it's the color tones that I like the most. It's also crisp where it needs to be and you've positioned the hands of the clock to run thru the classic ROT points. Well done. Good luck in the challenge. |

Time And Tide Wait For No Manby idnicComment: Yep, yep. Creativity bonus points achieved here! :D Clever, fun to look at, AND technically well done. Sounds like a winner to me! :D See you soon on the front page. |
