Slightly surprised this didn't make the Top 10...had it scored in my top 5 choices.

A wonderful image, very well seen and taken.

A little over the top with noise reduction it appears. Fun composition.

Ok. Here's an "artistic" photo that many have been belaboring doesn't exist or get enough recognition on DPC. This is a wonderful (if not sadly true) story being told in a powerful, eye-catching way. Strong message, and technicals to match!

This image is deserving of all the praise it receives and then some. I hope you take this photo to many places and gather acclaims around the world. Worthy of display in many galleries!

Congratulations, and Thanks for this vision!

What a perfect capture for this challenge! Is this a road you travel frequently...maybe noticed this scene develop before? Just curious. I drive 120 miles a day to/from work and have a few "spots" I keep an eye on. :-)

Well done, and congrats in advance on a high finish I'm sure! Good luck.

Cute dog. :-) The use of flash is creating some distracting shadows and also casting a slightly cooling effect (very slight) to the color. In one way the flash worked in your favor by illuminating the foreground and letting the bg fade out. Glad you didn't use a black border...that would have made the image feel much darker.

All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

The tree gets lost in this. I wouldn't have seen it except for the title and some looking. Lighting is quite harsh...maybe another time of day (early or late) would be better suited to shoot this location?

I see two faces in the cliff shadows (the lower part). The actual rock face looks like a monkey/gorilla, then where the shadow falls on the left side of the outcrop there is a human profile formed by the shadow. :-D

Lots of flowers in this challenge, that's for sure. :-)

This photo could use some levels adjustments, maybe a shot of contrast, and some sharpening plus noise reduction.

Trying to figure out what's going on at the bottom edge. There seems to be something opaque running across where the leaves are.

Anyway...good luck in the challenge.

Too much tan!

:-) Sorry. Couldn't resist after your post in the forums. Pretty easy to know which photo is your's considering there is only one cat photo in this challenge.

Very cute photo BTW. Have a couple of these creatures at home myself. Based on knowing who's this is, I'm abstaining from voting. As is, I'd give it a 5 or 6. Could be sharpened a tad, and maybe a slight contrast boost.

Good luck.

Nice color and good use of flare. A trick to try with so many bare branches is to use 'Despeckle' or 'Salt&Pepper' in your noise reduction choices of the software app you're using.

Who, where, what??? Somebody/something in there?

I like the concept. The foreground bokeh seems too strong with that large red block in the upper area. A little repositioning for another POV may have worked better. Still using foreground bokeh, but not with such a large blotch.
