I thought you're timing on this was excellent. I'm a sucker for a good landscape at dusk/dawn and finding one with a couple of boats to boot just made it all that much sweeter. :-) I love the color, and you did an excellent job on post-processing to bring the boats back.

Gosh, I hate to say this (based on all of the fun we had this past week in a certain thread), but this was one of my top choices for the challenge. I gave it a 9. Yes, it's simple and colorful, but your choice on POV and composition made it stand out for me. This has stock sales written all over it! :-)

A great capture for this challenge. The lighting adds a nice sense of place and scale. The hovering gulls didn't hurt any either! :-)

As a follow-up to the thread you opened I'd thought I'd comment...

Technically it may be a "camera", but c'mon...this is a photography site, what did you expect? I for one, anticipated regular cameras, you know the kind used for photography; not movies or videos.

If you do decide to go outside the anticipated box, then the image needs to be unique and interesting, not a snapshot-ish type of image. During voting I gave this a generous 4.

All JMO of course. :-)
