The first sentence is dang near true! BIG storm with thunder and lightning caught me out in the open for a few minutes while I raced back to my vehicle. All the while muttering to myself..."not good, not good carrying this 5 pound hunk of tripod metal...not good!". :-P |

Lindaby cryanComment: Nice tones and comp. Lost some detail with the noise reduction (at least it seems that way) |

Graphicalby bobonacusComment: Isn't it fun finding interesting viewpoints on items that are near at hand? This makes a fun macro piece for sure! |

Chiliby bobonacusComment: Woah! Those look like human ears!!! Kinda freaky. This photo feels very documentary. Not sure if that's good or bad - one of those shots you might see in a school textbook. That's a compliment, isn't it? :-) Very interesting subject! |

Still Snarkyby Art RoflmaoComment: LOL! Trippin. He-he.
Ok - Done with the kidding and ha-ha's. This is a GREAT shot Ken. Spot on with the focus and clarity, well positioned subject and actually quite interesting (fella?) considering it's a slimy thing.
Thanks for sharing what would have been a front page shot in October's FS! |

Show me the picnicby StarbananaComment: I thought it was a toy polar bear. :-) Any way you slice it, it's still a unique POV that is quite fun and clever. You'll be dangerous with a true macro lens! Well seen and captured. |

3-october 08 macro. flyby rozComment: Very nice detail and a good catch of what I imagine is a tricky subject to corner. The colors in this are splendid! It's like a natural frame that is SO easy on the eyes. Great job. BTW - I like your copyright, it's there but not overwhelming. |

Survivorby patio127Comment: Nice color and detail. I like the OOF bg as well. If it was mine I'd probably clone out that small spot near the edge. It does add some tension to the image, so perhaps that's an artistic choice to keep it? |

Chain linkby bjoernComment: Something about this I like much better than the other chain shot. Probably the orientation for starters, and I like the black bg also. Good detail - nice and crisp. Good choice for a macro perspective. |
