Oct 03.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: A great study in DOF. Hard to get much thinner than that (reverse lens hookup maybe). I'm too lazy to check your lens options...what are you using for your macro shots? Would be nice to know some tech specs (f?) on this also. |

Oct 08.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Funny, when I saw the thumbnail at first glance I thought it was a rabbit. Whatever it was, it appeared to be dead (lifeless eye). I'm glad to see that it's a rodent and not a rabbit. As a young adult, in farm country, I hunted many a rabbit...today it doesn't appeal to me so much anymore.
You've captured very good detail here in this image. B/W was a good choice and I like the manner in which this comp was considered. |

Oct 09.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Wonderful color. Very interesting choice on DOF. Not sure if I like it or not honestly. Hmmm. My mind tells me what is OOF at the center bg so it's borderline abstract. The OOF edges work very well as a natural frame. The part of this that is in focus has very good detail.
One other thing I do like about this is that it IS different. Not your run-of-the-mill flower shot. :-) |

Cinderellaby Purple_GirlComment: Ok - you entered something, eh? :-) It's "ok" as a photo I guess, but not very strong on the "story" board. JMO. Good luck. |

The Shroudby hannekeComment: Well focused portrait. Perhaps a tad oversharpened. Not familiar with the selected story. |

Snow Whiteby emily212Comment: Good model for Snow White, although I may have selected a pastel of lighter color for the dress. Her face is OOF but not by much. A much shallower DOF and positioning her hand a little closer to the camera would have been more effective IMO. Image feels a little flat like it could use a boost in contrast and a tweak in levels. All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

The Water Of Lifeby IreneMComment: If I wasn't so tired of seeing water drops, splashes, drips, dunks, etc... I'd probably really like this shot. I do like the color tones and it's certainly well focused and illuminated. Good luck. |

The water of lifeby LalliSigComment: If this isn't a Larus shot it's certainly a good copycat. Nice to have attractive models available for sure! |
