Evening Snackby Bear_MusicComment: This is one of those shots you do for yourself - win or lose. It's a beautiful piece of work Robert. The "noise" adds an element that fits perfectly with this. |

Up Close and Personalby fantomfotoComment:
MUCH better!!! Even though I wouldn't have scored it too high because it's a zoo shot it still would have pushed a 5.75-6.0 without the green color cast.

Beach - 8by JuliBocComment: Feels like I could reach out and touch this feather. Good eye to see and capture this photo opportunity. |

Beach - 9by JuliBocComment: I love what damp/wet conditions can do to colors...really makes them pop. This is an interesting assortment of rocks and overall it's a nice comp. The contrast is a little strong and the bottom left shadow somewhat distracting with unfortunate corner placement which takes the viewer out of the frame.
These rocks do bring back memories as I grew up on Lake Michigan and gathered many collections of "pretty" rocks as a kid. :-) |

Macro 04by KenComment: This image has a strong feeling of motion with the stems/lines leading into the depths of this plant. A fine example of what leading lines can do to add a dynamic to static objects. Well seen and captured! |

Macro 07by KenComment: Very nice DOF on this, and you did a great job on exposure considering the light conditions. Spot metered? |

Deer Flowers.by JaimeVinasComment: I smiled when I saw this during voting and it was one of my higher rated shots. Surprised a little at where this ended up. It was a hit for sure with those that commented on it during voting, averaging a score of 8.
The editing on this is very nice. Great detail in the original capture certainly was there. The natural colors really pop on this. From my seat I'm not seeing anything needing attention...wonderfully done! |

Skimming the Surfaceby MaryOComment: I quite liked this one...gave it a 7. The colors are very nice IMO. I like the natural earthy tones - has a nice rich feel to it. Had the sun been shining this wouldn't feel nearly the same. Your POV also adds a lot to the comp as it somehow makes viewing this image more personal.
BTW - Do you always go after wildlife handicapped with 75mm being your long lens? :-D I have to say; that surprised me when I noticed it. |
