Mail Dropby LeoComment: Hmmmm...I like all of the sparkly lights. :-) You nailed the mailbox, and I like how there's a car there to accent your title. The LB does a good job of providing some motion to this. Make's it feel like you took this shot while rolling. |

A Cool Taco House at Nightby LeoComment: The night shot is much more interesting IMO. I like the way you feel like you're standing in line waiting to get in. Fun being able to see just enough of the interior for a tease. |

Turnaroundby LeoComment: Don't know why, but it makes me think of a hospital. I wonder if this is how the hospital emergency entrance looks to someone in desperate need of it...all blurry on the peripherals. :-)
I like the way the curve of the turnaround adds some interest to this. |

Christoph by ZigomarComment: Perfect hit on the sweetspot to capture this interesting portrait. I really like the vines and brick that surrond the person. The bright green car is a distraction (I know, some people don't like that word) for me to be quite honest. I keep finding my attention torn between the main subject and the brighter area of the photo. I wonder what this would look like in B/W with a green filter? |

Tamara by ZigomarComment: I like a photo with an untold story. Hmmm...perhaps I should say unfinished story? The look on her face can be read as amused, happy, content, intriged - or maybe she's just trying to avoid looking at the camera? :-)
I haven't even yet considered why a chair is built to look like a watermelon slice or where it is? Perhaps another day. :-D |

Nov 19 - Tree in yellowby hajekaComment: I like the sharp slice you grabbed here - VERY sharp indeed! With the OOF blur where it is, it almost looks like shallow DOF you'd get with a regular lens and foreground bokeh. |

Nov 18 - Flowerby hajekaComment: You didn't have a camera with you?!!! You gotta be KIDDING me! :-P
As for this photo, you did a nice job keeping the reds in check - very easy to lose detail in that color channel (at least in my limited experience). The comp works fine, the lighting is well directed. Good control of the sweet spot too.
I can't help wondering what this would look like with a levels adjustment that would brighten it a tad, add a touch of contrast, and deepen the blacks. ??? |

Shadowsby NasaComment: Some interesting patterns and shapes in this. Beach looks busy! The way the bridges over the tunnel look is a bit of a brain teaser. Appears that the road is transparent over the top with the use of a different type of material in that section of road. |

Nov 16 - Eggby hajekaComment: Nice lighting on this. Looks like this was desaturated in post and the yellow/orange left to remain?
So, what are you? A chef or something to be messing around with all of this food? :-P |
