What used to be....by albc28Comment: The reflections on the underside of the island roof is quite interesting. Could almost make an abstract out of that by itself. It appears that you were trying to capture the entire scene...sometimes it's better to isolate. Look at this with a crop that removes a good chunk of the bottom, the right (getting rid of car), and some off the left a little.
All JMO of course. :-) Good luck. |

Hoary rivalsby cicarulezComment: Liked the view better back where you started, eh? :-) This is a unique view. The competing color temps in the various lights throws this off some (not much you could do about that). Yellow won. |

Shell Stationby madcrabberComment: Where is this place? Looks like I've seen this same station 3 or 4 times now. I like the time of day that you took this. Works well with the lights. Kind of with you'd taken a bit off the bottom on this. BTW - what's "Free"? Kittens or something? :-) Good luck in the challenge. |

Pumping Gasby choltmeierComment: :-) This is the photo I was going to take (honest, ask my teammates!). Ended up going a totally different direction. B/W works well with this. Good luck! |

Old School Baby by JulietNNComment: Pretty cool that this old truck is there too. You must have used a split ND filter on this to darken the sky and sign? Works pretty well except for the sign (meaning good idea on controlling the sky). Anyway...good luck in the challenge. |

Far from the treeby MelethiaComment: I was the only one to give this a 10?! I found this photo to be quite refreshing in a field of water drops/splashes and computers. The composition is spot on. Great eye to see this with the one apple with leaves on it. With any lens other than a lensbaby I don't think this would have worked as well (too much would have been in focus - even wide open).
It just feels so REAL. Very nice - I'm sorry to see it placed so far down the line. |

Hold STILL!by GeneralEComment: See?! I told you some fletching would help, even if it was OOF it would help sell the story (for those not convinced it was an arrow). I really liked your approach on this - the OOF bg works great in this scenario.
Very creative! |

Never Too Late For Sunrise by StagoleeComment: Originally posted by violinist123: Good move not referencing the original shot during voting (in the title), definitely worked to your advantage. |
That's the truth! Unbelievable. |
