Snail Playgroundby jomariComment: The snails are fine, the curved piece of material is cool. The blownout highlights are a bummer. Lighting is quite harsh on this. |

Swirling Curling Slinkyby BuddyBaumComment: Ok. Second slinky photo I've liked. I like that is's a B&W thats converted very well, and I like the way you've snaked it out. The interior border is a little wide for my taste, but not a big deal. I'd voted on this earlier and gave it a 6...after looking longer while commenting I've decided to give this a slight bump up. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Web Of Curved Linesby prashant_168Comment: That's one long-legged skinny spider! :-) As for the image, it's fine overall. It seems a tad oversharpened and I'd like to see less web to see more detail in the web strands. All JMO of course. Good luck! |

Clearingby AVPComment: That's a fun looking tree and works ok for the challenge. A tad bit mundane/static perhaps. |

A few twists...by KelliComment: A little bit snapshottish, but interesting nonetheless. Can't help but wonder what other angles and viewpoints were available that could have isolated the "loops" and gotten the trees out of the frame. |

I, Springby oscarthepigComment: I had mixed feelings on scoring this. Very little detail is available and that usually indicates a strong use of noise reduction (most likely not in this case). I can tell you were using an extremely wide open aperture because just a smidge on the top rim is in focus. However, I DO like the effect this creates in the lower areas of the photo with the OOF rings of the spring. A very "artsy" type photo that is likely to have a polarizing vote result (either like it alot, or not like it much). I think I ended up in the "liking" it camp. :-) Good luck! |

leaf playing catchby photosmachen12Comment: That's a thin slice there! :-) Fun title and nice find for a subject piece. The blown highlights on the "ball" is going to cost you a tad probably. |

Wolf Creek Passby vtruanComment: Tunnel shots are cool and I've done a couple. I'm trying to figure how you did this without any motion blur. High shutter speed? Personally, I like the light trails and streaks that come with motion blur for shots like this, but this is ok too. Does seem like this needs a levels adjustment as the highlights are dirty gray/brownish. |
