47 seconds? For real? You must have some heavy duty ND filters! Having never been to this location I find it somewhat interesting in that regard. Seems like a lot of ground being covered here...almost too much. ??? On a technical note, it appears to be a tad oversharpened. All JMO of course. :-) Good luck.

I like the wispy clouds. Other than that, honestly, it's just another pretty sunset. Problem is that there are so many sunset shots/opportunities here that you really need an ideal location with a good foreground object and a clean/interesting palette. For example, the fence in your foreground. It directs the viewer somewhat down and out. The one thing in this photo that I do really find interesting, and could be capitalized on, is the palm tree reflection in the sunlit water. Isolate that, or find a way to make that a bigger part of your comp, and then you'll have something that voters may get excited about.

Quick - straighten this out before all the water runs out of the lake!!! I like this scene and I think it has more potential for something really dynamic than what you presented. First, straighten the horizon. Second thing I'd consider is much less sky and more emphasis on the fishermen. Just some observations. Good luck in the challenge.
