Pigeon and doorby MelethiaComment: Good detail in the sweetspot. The lines in the door add to the radial feeling of motion that the LB brings. I think you'd have taken some hits on the pigeon being blurred if you had entered this in the challenge. |

Freewaybabyby LeoComment: You seem to have gotten a long sweet spot. ??? Looking at the outbound lanes the road is pretty sharp for a long ways out. The LB enhances the feeling of movement that's obviously already present in this setting. Hope nobody thought you were causing trouble on the overpass. :-) |

Nov 17 - Wokkelsby hajekaComment: The LB effect is very slight in this photo. Almost seems like a shallow DOF shot. Almost...not quite. :-) Did you apply a soft or radiant filter to this? Seeing some haloing in the lower left.
Looks nice and cheesy. Hope it tasted good! |

Sunny afternoonby MelethiaComment: Yes, yes, YES! You could sell this in the giftshop over there I betcha. :-) Between you and Paul ( GeneralE) I'm really feeling the need to try some panoramics myself. Well done. |

Shadowsby MelethiaComment: This is an absolutely stunning photo! I love the lines, the shadows, the sense of mystery. You really should hide this quickly and use it for the November Free Study. :-)
I like it! |

IMG_4910PSD.jpgby beneeComment: Hey, this is cool how the sky is so well defined, yet having the LB effect show up in primarily the lower water area. A very calming image...can almost hear the water coming ashore. :-) |

a bald eagle in Herndonby krnodilComment: Hey, that's cool! I've been fortunate to see a family of eagles out by the Plains area (near Old Tavern - off west 66 not far past Haymarket). Two years in a row now I've seen the parents and an offspring. It's tricky getting a good shot without spooking them. Well done on capturing this one. |
