I like your photo and I'm glad to see it did well (I didn't find time to vote this time around). I'm worried about yours holding up on the validation though. Georges ran into a problem adding rain to one of his entries, but that was in Standard editing rules. I am curious as I noticed I had some software I've never played with and it has all kinds of 'textures' that basically do what you've done here - added something new on top. I was going to ask if this was legit in another thread for Standard editing and / or Extended. Good luck!

Lizard camouflage is amazing (goes for most of them). Good job of spotting this one, and getting a photo. The ones I've seen are usually pretty skittish and camera shy. :-)

The person (and pier) really add a sense of scale for this image. Those waves are very impressive in size. Nice flow and feel to this with great placement of elements within the scene - very well balanced.

I really enjoyed this image. Very nice fit for the challenge. Can't really tell if it's snowing or raining. I'm going to say snowing (looks like peeps are bundled up a bit).

Some of what I like about this is the feeling of being there. The choice of comp and focal distance is right on the money. Last thing is the processing choice; the sepia toning is perfect for this (would have been way too busy in color).

Anyway, wanted to drop by and mention that I liked this. TTYL
