Nice! I enjoy seeing who clears their driveway and who doesn't. :-) The snow adds a lot to this. Without it it would be a bit ho-hummish IMO. Good luck.

Awesome! One of my top picks. Should see this on the front page at rollover for sure (at least we better!). :-) Well done.

Yay! Finally. A drone shot from ABOVE the subject and not just a panning vista photo. Thanks. Although the subject and title are a bit commonly done it's still a good fit for this challenge. Good luck.

Sky is somewhat better in this than your entry, but the comp & subject are a bit ho-hum for me.

I still think this is a stronger subject than your outtake. I'd forgotten that this was a 'famous' tree when I came thru for voting. What held the score down for me was the lighting (time of day - no drama) and the chroma/fringing showing up in the branches of the tree.

What's the subject - the mountain peaks? If yes, they're a substantial part of the scene. ??? Doesn't seem like Minimalism to me. Sorry.

Ha! I missed the song connection. I loved listening to the Carpenters back in the day. Was a sad day when Karen left us early. Congrats on the top level finish on your entry.

Oh, I definitely gave it some consideration (regardless of what score I gave this). Hurts to hear the truth of what someone has to say about your entry? Not really getting the correlation between these misstatements in your photographer comments. ???

"My misjudgment led to a mediocre voting result. I normally tick the comments as helpful no matter what, but not this time."

I don't really care if my comments are marked helpful or not. I make them most of the time on a spur of the moment whim. I do like to go back after a challenge is over and see if my comments lined up with observations made by others. … and also to read the Photographers comments when available.

Best of luck to you. FWIW - I do like your image as a standalone; just not quite what I expected to see in this challenge. :-)
