Blue Ice Shards Abstractby DrakeComment: Awesome stack of ice there. Great Lakes? Honestly, the sky (way it's processed) takes away from the overall impact of this for me. Very noisy and slightly over-saturated. Just one guy's opinion. Good luck in the challenge. |

The Altar of Xanthineby GeneralEComment: This is my favorite of the 3 you posted. It's very graphic and well balanced. Pretty cool for a little plastic gadget! |

Flowers in Springby VenserComment: That's a fun technique! I've done the zoom in thing during exposure, but not this. Cool. |

View from the Quantock Hills, Ancient Beechesby Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by SaraR: Absolutely gorgeous - and so quintessentially English. My first impression, including the "gorgeous" part, and also the slight sense of tilt.
... and this too! :-)

Dust and Memoriesby grahamgatorComment: Originally posted by glad2badad: I like it, but why is it so small? Only 680 on the long side ... you have 1200. Good luck in the challenge. |
Well, huh. ??? Came back around to look at a few after the challenge and now I'm seeing this full size. So I take back my sizing comment above. :-} Now I want to look at this on my laptop (where I was voting from) and check something. I'm wondering if I have something set that auto resizes to the screen real-estate available on that computer / browser.
I am curious; is this a spot on your property or did you happen across it somewhere else? Is the dust fabricated (certainly doesn't look like it) or has it really been sitting there long enough to accumulate? Inquiring minds want to know. :-) |

prophecyby skewsmeComment: Not sure what exactly grabs me about this image. Something. The bold diagonal of the building is a place to start I think. It's like, here I am - this strong, dominant building - those ominous skies can't intimidate me! Besides, I have my own power source buddy right outside my front door. :-) The sky is pretty darn awesome too. Well done! |
