Pearls are imortalby NunoComment: I like the bowl, I like the background, I like the jewelry (although I would like to see it closer) - what I don't understand is the packing shells (foam peanuts)? |

The Spawn of Timeby FalcComment: Hey Keith - I just HAD to find one of your photos to COMMENT on based on something recently read in one of the forum posts. ;^) So...I opened up your portfolio, took a peek, and remembered how much I enjoyed this photo. Very clever the way you set it up. With 3 kids around the house we may have to try this ourselves. By the way, you get the high honor of receiving my 500th comment! Just had to say that. He-he... |

Last a Lifetimeby MontereykiddoComment: The jewelry seems to be a second point in this photo - the hands are overpowering what you intended to be the primary object. JMO. Nice ring...the reflections on the front of it make it look like there is something under the ring. If the hand were positioned down just a smidgen more it may have helped. Always easy to be the armchair quaterback I know. Good luck in the challenge. |

Silver Heart Earringsby postoakinversionComment: The first thing to jump out at me in this photo is the models eyes. If this was a portraint that would be good. The earring in this is not a focal point. JMO. She's very pretty - how did it look in color? Good luck in the challenge. |

Natural pearlsby aKiwiComment: Nice pearls! I like your color choice for the background, it's different and it works. The lighting is ok, I would like to see it toned down just a little. Did you try wetting the wood to darken it...that might have been interesting. Well done overall. |

Smithsby justinbrookComment: That text is tricky isn't it? ;^) Very good capture on the watch. Nice lighting and focus. I wonder how this would have looked using a black background? Good luck in the challenge. |

Grandma's Ringby JordanZComment: Can't decide if I like the reflection or not....would have been a good place for some text (in the reflection area). Otherwise, I like the photo. Clean and crisp - well lit. Good luck in the challenge. |

a diamond is forever by hopperComment: Ah, yes...chocolate! This is fun. Great detail and clarity. Some reflections on the outside of the rings I'm curious about, but can't define. I think those are going to drop this down a couple notches, but should still reach top 20. Good job. |
