Hard to explain...it's almost like the photo is more about the hand than the jewelry? Sorry I can't pinpoint it more for you. Good luck.

Good details in this image, although finding diamonds is a bit hard to do (small in relation to the photo). Lighting, detail, contrast...all are in good shape. Negative for me is the text is a bit overpowering (too large). Good luck.

It's ok. Not sure I get the choice of props. Is the ring supposed to be a napkin ring or is it a piece of jewelry? The white diagonal line in the background it throwing me off - seems distracting. Good focus and you did a good job of keeping unwanted reflections out of the glass as far as I can tell. Good luck.

It looks like you were trying to imitate a flower with the jewelry on the artificial flower. Why not use a real flower? That would have been pretty cool. The "flower" in this case is distracting because of the cloth pattern. The lighting to the left is a bit hot, and you have some lens flare on the upper right of the flower it looks like. Neat concept. Good luck.

Ok, nice shot. The shadows of the background used are a bit distracting. It would be nice if there was one major reflection on the top of the pearl. The lighting and focus on the gold is good. For this challenge you may take a minor hit for not having any text, especially with all the negative space available. I know, text was not required for this challenge, but I think most voters are going to be looking for some with a photo such as yours. Overall, good job. Good luck.

Oh, so close! Great concept and composition. It's just too overexposed around the top edge of the rings - they get lost in the water reflections.

This is "OK". I think the DOF could be a bit deeper to include the winding button/dial on the right. The shadow in the date window on the watch face is a bit distracting. Otherwise, nice shot. Good luck.

Great photo by itself. Forget about Jewelry Advertisment for a minute. Composition, lighting, focus...all the key elements are right on! I'm mixed as to the value of this photo as an advertisement for jewelry - not much of the jewelry to see. I guess it's all a matter of taste. When I'm buying a watch (which I've done numerous times) I want a little more detail. That's just me. As a photo this should place high with DPC voters. 7 from me. Good luck.

Nice. I like it. Very interesting piece of jewelry. Good choice of text, the composition and focus is very good. Only issue I have is the lighting. I wish the light could have been difused some to eliminate the hot spot on the skull ring forehead. Good job, and good luck.
